AMLO ask to the concessionarie to modernize Tapachula airport

The executive has asked the concessionarie in charge of the expansion of the Tapachula airport to improve facilities, this in order to attract more tourism and improve development conditions in the entity,as well as serve the entire southern border since according his to words it has been very careless.

Under this concept, I think that this is an area full of natural resources and with a lot of potential for tourism due to its visual attractions due to its beautiful landscapes and its tropical climate, so I consider important to pay attention to give the state an advantage, even in the poor areas because here are numerous municipalities that live in extreme poverty, as in the other states of this area, so its a priority to give more attention to these entities.

Local businesses will need to invest in labeling

Marythelma Rodríguez García, teacher and researcher at the Chiapas Campus Banking and Commercial School (EBC), explained that Chiapas companies will have to invest in labeling so as not to break the law; Which according to research will cost 10 to 50 cents per item.

Nowadays, local companies with the sale of Chiapas products that will incur in the use of this labeling are largely unaware of the norm; since there are still doubts about how to interpret the information, do the calculations, how to design the label to include the icons, the space that each one should occupy.

The modifications of NOM-051 that speak about the new labeling were presented on March 27, 2020; The standard has three phases planned to be fully implemented until October 2025, in order that companies can comply with the labeling requirements.

In my opinion, most companies are concerned with covering the necessary requirements on a label, that is, name, expiration, net content, ingredients, etc., but few products are shown with complete information to the consumer. represents a benefit for the informed consumer, over time it will be reflected if it brings consequences in the sales of their products but they still must comply with this NOM since they are the most interested in being able to sell their products since they were the most affected by the pandemics and They must meet all the requirements so they do not have problems with their products.

Operation of Short Distance Maritime Transport begins in Chiapas

As part of the impetus for the Mesoamerican Integration and Development Project, the Short Distance Shipping (TMCD) operation began on the pilot route between Puerto Chiapas-Puerto Quetzal. The service will be provided by the Mexican shipping company NAVEMAR, through its vessel M / V Aries.

The General Coordination of Ports and Merchant Marine (CGPMM) reported that the objective is to attract resources that strengthen the integration and development processes of ten Mesoamerican countries and “to help reduce the economic and social inequalities that have historically prevailed in the southern region. southeast ”.

The Chiapas Port is a logistics node that allows commercial exchange to and from Central America, as well as with other international markets, which makes it a strategic place to promote the TMCD project with Guatemala, and later with other Mesoamerican countries.

In my opinion this is such an important project it will communicate many undeveloped places in order to support them to growth and promote trade. As we have seen In classes, connectivity within places is an important factor when growing cities, this project will be really good for economy in Chiapas and will reduce poverty by creating sources of income.

Guerrero tourist destinations on the national and international scene

Héctor Astudillo, governor of Guerrero, stressed that the entity has maintained its main tourist destinations on the national and international scene thanks to the promotion of events, highlighting the participation of Guerrero in the International Tourism Fair (Fitur) in Madrid, Spain, which is held will take place in January 2021.

During Fitur in Madrid, Spain, Guerrero will present a pavilion, becoming the first and only Mexican state to participate with this type of infrastructure.

In the pre-event exhibition, held on October 14, the pavilion became one of the most visited and admired due to the entity's handicrafts and gastronomic samples.

La Fitur has the participation of more than 160 countries, which allows Guerrero to offer its diversity of tourist destinations and show its cultural and gastronomic riches.

As part of the results of the Fitur, various businesses were also closed with companies such as Corte Inglés, Politours, Mucho Viaje, TUI, Native Trails, Vuelta por el Mundio, Ladevi and the Poland Tour; as well as a meeting with Carlos Vogueler director-general secretary of relations of the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO).

Oaxaca: community tourism

Tourism in Oaxaca has been a fundamental part of the state's economy for decades.  Today, the challenge is to find the balance between growing and preserving the environment.  The Oaxaca Tourism Secretariat has been in charge of solving this challenge through a forceful and innovative drive towards the development of this industry based on a constant dialogue with all those involved.

This makes it possible for visitors to enjoy a dream destination, for investors to explore attractive business opportunities and for the state's communities to achieve a growing, sustainable and sustainable level of development.  One of the decisions that will have the greatest impact on tourism in the coming years is the communications infrastructure.  The completion of the Oaxaca-Costa and Oaxaca-Istmo highways will radically reduce travel times.  La de la Costa - as they say informally - will make getting from Oaxaca City to Puerto Escondido only two and a half hours instead of six, and the trip to Huatulco will be three hours instead of seven.  These new land connections will be an essential part to further promote some of the famous Tourist Routes of Oaxaca.  Visitors can enjoy the various activities offered throughout the state through 10 different tours.

In my opinion, the strategy with which they are going to boost tourism even more in a few years seems great, that is, the roads, this also creates new opportunities for connectivity with other cities and therefore tourist and economic growth, as well as what will be easier for people from Oaxaca to move to other places either to study or work, improving the quality of life and making Oaxaca more and more developed.

Artisan producers market reopens

In order to promote and open a space for independent design and production, the market for gastronomic and artisan producers reopened this weekend in the center of the municipality of Teopisca.

The organizers announced that independent producers from Teopisca participate in this activity, with artisan and gastronomic samples from the region, among other products.

Gastronomic and artisan producers from Teopisca and its surroundings participate in the market, and it will be held from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. in the central park spaces.

They reported that in this market, locals and visitors can find products of all kinds, such as textiles, clay, illustration and paintings, as well as cocoa products, artisan drinks, to name a few.

The objective of this activity is for people to know the products they make and that are for sale to the public, as a sample of what is produced in Teopisca, in addition to supporting and reactivating the economy that has been affected by the pandemic of the Covid-19 since local sellers are the most affected by this situation because they do not have a fixed salary and live daily, from tourists who buy souvenirs, that is why this news is important.

As for Zihuatanejo, an investment of almost 100 million pesos was allocated, in addition to the emblematic Paseo del Pescador, the Ciclopista to Ixtapa, with more than 20 kilometers in length and the Riscalillo Scenic.

FINANCING OPTIONS FOR MANGOES IN OAXACA

Mexico is the fifth place in the production of mango worldwide and first place of export with 360,000 tons to the international markets, the main destinations being the United States, Canada and Japan, among others being the state of Oaxaca the fifth Mango producer in the territory, where 87% of its production is concentrated in the Isthmus region, allocating approximately 55,000 tons for export in the agricultural cycle.

However, 97% of producers are small, have low productivity and lack sufficient technology to incorporate automated services for their production, which makes even more difficult for them to grow. Mexico only has one Designation of Origin for the Mango, which is the Ataúlfo Mango from the Soconusco region in Chiapas (which is also part of the South Pacific area), a state that Adjoins the Isthmus of Oaxaca and that by having a denomination of origin affects the competitiveness against Oaxaca, which does not have large producers, which due to unforeseen plantings have greater barriers to financing, however the Instituted Trusts in Relation to Agriculture (FIRA) is planning to align their strategy with the guidelines with the objective of helping the growth of this market in the aforementioned area, mainly seeking to implement the organization of producers and supplier development programs. I think it is very important to support the states of this region because it’s very rich in resources but the government don’t give them the proper attention to activate the development in such a good area.

Spending will increase only in exploitation and production

As the port of Salina Cruz is one of the main extractors and exporters of oil and its derivatives in the country, it is essential to invest in this field to one of the 6 refineries that make up the National Refining System (which is accompanied for which they are located in Tula, Madero, Cadereyta, Minatitlán and Salamanca) for which the budget that was not administered in the other divisions will be allocated for their recovery, a budget that will be 7,000 million pesos, added to that, the expense for Pemex investment will increase in real terms by 1.2% due solely to exploration and production with a budget of 289, 859 million pesos added to 41, 256 million pesos by the Secretary of energy.

This is interesting in the understanding that Mexico is considered, in addition to manufacturing, an oil country and that its economy is based on the extraction and production of petroleum products, however, in the past, priority had been given to certain refineries that They were considered strategic for the country, for which other few of some marginalized states were given less relevance, in that sense, I consider it vital to recover the forgotten refineries, however, as Pemex is the focus of controversy on various occasions for the management of resources, it is a bit hasty to continue increasing the budget year after year instead of betting on other types of energy.

Chiapas receives certification

Chiapas received from the World Travel and Tourism Council (WTTC), the international certification "Safe Travels" that guarantees Chiapas as a safe destination against the new normal, while taking care of the health of the workers in the sector, and visitors.

The World Travel and Tourism Council, based in London, England, is an international body representing the travel and tourism trade, whose purpose is to ensure smooth, safe, inclusive and sustainable tourism activities.

Said international body approved the protocols on health and safety implemented for free in its entirety, by the State Secretariat of Tourism, through the quality certificate in sanitary security and civil protection for the tourist infrastructure "Clean Contact Seal Chiapas "Therefore, Chiapas companies that hold this distinction will be awarded the" Safe Travels "certification.

Derived from this recognition, the Chiapas Secretariat of Tourism's commitment to safeguard the health and safety of those who come to the state in search of experiencing the historical, cultural and natural heritage of the entity is reinforced; In addition, it will offer greater confidence through the standards implemented by tourism service providers in the matter. It is worth mentioning that the "Chiapas Clean Contact Seal" is permanent, with online training, voluntary and above all at no cost.

In my opinion, with the current situation of the pandemic, tourist places like Chiapas depend on foreign investment for tourism, which is why to safeguard health and safety they must offer that confidence to visit the place with all the appropriate measures to that the local people can obtain economic resources and survive this pandemic as well as being able to reactivate local commerce.

Oaxaca, in the top three states with the highest job growth

According to “el Universal” Oaxaca reports a 97.4% percentage in the occupancy rate during the month of August, which places the state among the first places, only below Veracruz (97.8%) and Campeche (97.5%), according to the results of the National Occupation and Employment Survey (ENOE) of the National Institute of Geography and Statistics (INEGI) that were sent this day and measure the status of formal jobs.

According to the Government of Oaxaca, this is due to the fact that through the Ministry of Economy, a series of financing policies have been promoted for micro, small and medium-sized enterprises, such as the granting of credits for 1,440 companies, of which which 829 are run by women entrepreneurs.

I found this new interesting and important, it is great that the government provides this type of aid to people in this communities, is good for them but also for the economy in Mexico, small and medium companies are too important in our economy due to inject competition in the economy. I disagree a bit because I would like the government to return the budget we had in past years for entrepreneurs with a high potential, those companies who develop innovation and science and are the future of our country.
