As the port of Salina Cruz is one of the main extractors and
exporters of oil and its derivatives in the country, it is essential to invest
in this field to one of the 6 refineries that make up the National Refining
System (which is accompanied for which they are located in Tula, Madero,
Cadereyta, Minatitlán and Salamanca) for which the budget that was not
administered in the other divisions will be allocated for their recovery, a
budget that will be 7,000 million pesos, added to that, the expense for Pemex
investment will increase in real terms by 1.2% due solely to exploration and
production with a budget of 289, 859 million pesos added to 41, 256 million
pesos by the Secretary of energy.
This is interesting in the understanding that Mexico is considered, in addition to manufacturing, an oil country and that its economy is based on the extraction and production of petroleum products, however, in the past, priority had been given to certain refineries that They were considered strategic for the country, for which other few of some marginalized states were given less relevance, in that sense, I consider it vital to recover the forgotten refineries, however, as Pemex is the focus of controversy on various occasions for the management of resources, it is a bit hasty to continue increasing the budget year after year instead of betting on other types of energy.
