Regarding tourism, the economic spill derived from this activity increased by 23.89%, as well as the arrival of tourists to the city of Oaxaca increased by 20.26% and this was named as the best city in the world to visit in 2020 according to the magazine Travel + Leisure.

Oaxaca, as we mentioned in a previous post in relation to Chiapas, was also one of the first states to obtain the Safe Travels seal from the World Travel and Tourism Council (WTTC), being that this distinctive is designed so that travelers recognize governments and companies that have adopted standard hygiene protocols.

With the Forbes report we can conclude that the potential of the state is immense and strategies are being proposed to take advantage of it. Its magical towns, traditional events

and crafts can undoubtedly make the world not only pay attention to Oaxaca, but also fall in love with the place.
