Héctor Astudillo, governor of Guerrero, stressed that the entity has maintained its main tourist destinations on the national and international scene thanks to the promotion of events, highlighting the participation of Guerrero in the International Tourism Fair (Fitur) in Madrid, Spain, which is held will take place in January 2021.
During Fitur in Madrid, Spain, Guerrero will present a pavilion, becoming the first and only Mexican state to participate with this type of infrastructure.
In the pre-event exhibition, held on October 14, the pavilion became one of the most visited and admired due to the entity's handicrafts and gastronomic samples.
La Fitur has the participation of more than 160 countries, which allows Guerrero to offer its diversity of tourist destinations and show its cultural and gastronomic riches.
As part of the results of the Fitur, various businesses were also closed with companies such as Corte Inglés, Politours, Mucho Viaje, TUI, Native Trails, Vuelta por el Mundio, Ladevi and the Poland Tour; as well as a meeting with Carlos Vogueler director-general secretary of relations of the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO).
